            Hello. Today I want to write about learning on Thursday 27 October 2021 for the Reading course with material on Scanning. Are you know Scanning? Oke let's discuss..

Definition Of Scanning 

            Scanning is a fast way that is used to find specific information (fast reading). Speed ​​reading is a way to find information without reading the whole , but we only need to find the key word of the paragraph or which shows in the next paragraph.

Purpose Of Scanning

             Scanning is also useful When studying or finding information from books or articles quickly and not reading the whole or just skimming, from scanning we can also learn to find information easily, fast reading also aims to make us more focused. 

That's why we need a way to read fast. 
How to scanning :

1. We must know the keywords or topics discussed in the book

2. Look for which pages of the book we can find the keyword

3. Narrow the search by looking at the table of contents or index

4. If you have found the desired keyword. Read one sentence where the keyword is

In daily activities scanning is usually used to:

1. Look up a number in the phonebook

2. Look up a specific word in the dictionary

3. Searching the table of contents in a book

4. Searching for shows in tv channels

Scanning is reading quickly to find information without reading the whole and we only need to find the keywords of the paragraph or books.
